Deckard Cain
Decard Cain is an old man in a blue robe who waits by the dry fountain. He summoned the party, and tells anyone who will listen that he is the last of the Horadrim. He carries a small golden puzzle box he calls his greatest treasure, and his life’s work to guard.
He told the party what happened to Tristram: King Leoric came from the east and raised the Cathedral, then his mind twisted. He sent his army to die against Westmarch, then led the last of his soldiers beneath the Cathedral, taking his son, Prince Albrecht, with him. Neither has been seen since.
